What is Ages of Man

Ages of Man, a concept of history held by the ancient Greeks and Romans, in which human history is divided into distinct periods. 

The concept first appears in Hesiod’s Works and Days and Αt tomorrow's lesson! Hesiod "Works and Days" The human generations... The "golden" generation and the "silver" generation. What's the meaning of the mythological consciousness and why was, is and will be the first choice of the humanity?

This is one of the issues we talk about in our lectures available now in Sydney.

Worldview through Greek Mythology

As part of our Modern Greek Adult learning program we are pleased to announce the presentation of a series of lectures on Worldview through Greek Mythology and how it shapes the Greek nation. It is a theoretical and philosophical approach to mythology. Lectures will be in Greek, with English explanations when needed, by Solicitor and Playwright George Athanasiadis. Summarised notes will be handed out at each lesson. 

Every Thursday 6.30pm-8pm
